I am a truck person at heart so I wasn't immediately in love.
After my first long distance ride I realized that the comfort of the driver's seat alone was worth the cost of the vehicle. It was one of the selling points but has turned into the most important factor in daily use.
On Star, while not a selling point for me, does add ease and security to the car. As a single girl I like the option of getting help anywhere, anytime. I have only used it once in two years but it was a great assistance. Returning from a busines trip out of town I found my battery dead, unable even to start. I called On Star from my cell phone and help arrived in about 30 minutes. For no charge at all they jumped my battery and hung around to verify I had no other problems. I did have two issues with the process though: 1. On Star runs off the battery and therefore can not be contacted from the vehicle when dead. 2. If you need to contact On Star and are unable to from the vehicle you must have their phone number. The easiest way is from the window stickers on the vehicle so I suggest you leave them attached.
