I purchased my LT HHR in Oct 2006 and loved it. Sunburst Metalic Orange, moon roof, running boards, XM (WHICH WE LOVE), chrome (which we HATE) and power everything. No on-star which we should of gotten.

Mid 2007 I was hit in the parking lot of my apt complex doing less than 5 miles per hour. THe damage wasn't extensive but cost to the "other" party $5000 in damages and I am still paying for it. After they "fixed" it, the problem with the car still exists. The front end still has this "knocking" noise that no one at GM can diagnose. No one, I have had it in the shop so many times that I have my own driver at the store. THen they asked me the fatfull question, "has this car ever been in a car accident" I knew that lying wasn't going to be the way - so I told them it was a 5 mile an hour accident. THey said "they really shouldn't be working on this". THey almost invalidated the factory warranty. I purchased the extended warranty and that didn't help either.

So, the bottom line, I now have to get rid of the car that I love because of the noise it makes. Sad, because we now have to find a car that has as good gas mileage, space, features etc. We've driven 1000's of miles with no complaint other than the elbow room on the window.
