I have had a 2005 Chevy Equinox and still do.  I turned in a lease JEEP Liberty (horrible) and saw the new model ofr 2008 the Equinox Sport. Alot of horsepower, great handling, this model year has all wheel disc bakes which gives better stopping power.   Both cars are unbelievable in the rain.  You feel as if you are stuck to the ground the way it handles in down pours.  This model is a bit pricey for an Equinox but has alot of standard features.  And OnStar is fantastic.  They monitor the diagnostics of the car, can download directions to your radio, even if you make a wrong turn it knows.  It corrects you.  The phone system is like no other. There is even a emergency button if you should need medical help.  GM really has the technology down to a science.  OnStar should be considered fo anyone with a medical condition or an elderly person.  I LOVE GM AND CHEVY!!!
