Cheryl's Travel Message Board Review

I found this wonderful Message Board while searching for advice for my first ever Caribbean Vacation.  I wanted to book a Sandal's Resort but had never known anyone who has gone to one and I really wanted some questions answered before booking.  I joined this Message Board thinking MAYBE they could answer a few questions and what did I find?  The answered all of them and then some!

What is it?
Cheryl's Travel Message Board is just that - a message board.  It's run by a regular person like you and me who doesn't profit from it in anyway.  Instead, she runs the board because she loves to travel and wants to have a common space for travelers to chit chat.  The majority of the members on this board have been to at least one Sandal's Resort and many of them have been to multiple resorts or been multiple times.

How does it help?
The board has areas to discuss all Sandal's resorts to ask questions, to post reviews of the vacation after you go, to post links to your vacation photos, and to post Live from Sandal's if you have Internet access when you go!  This helped me a ton!  Every Sandal's question I asked was answered promptly and by multiple people.  Who better to ask than someone who's been there half a dozen times?  They made me very excited to go and very secure in my decision to book Sandal's Royal Bahamian.

There are also boards set up to discuss other vacations as well, such as other Adult Only resorts, or family resorts, or just any vacation you may be going on.  While the expertise is mostly about Sandals and the Caribbean, you are free to discuss any vacation.

Why do I go even when I don't have questions?
I quickly became addicted to this website because it is so fun!  Even when I don't have questions, it's fun to read other people's questions and answers, to see pictures from the latest member's vacation, and just to chat in general with people with common interest.  I always enjoy looking at member's pictures of their vacations because it makes me really see what each destination is like.  Since I can only travel on 1 major trip a year right now, it's nice to be able to learn a lot about these resorts and other destinations in advance so I can pick the perfect spot for each vacation.  It's also nice to know that when I come back from my Sandal's vacation I'll be able to show my pics to someone else besides my family and friends!  All that work I put into those photos will be seen by a lot more people now.

Fancy Extras
The board can be set up to send you alerts of new responses so you always know when someone answers you.  That's just a nice extra.  There is also a private message mailbox built into it so you can communicate privately with other members without sharing your email address if you don't want to.

Why am I telling you about it?
If you like to travel as much as I do, you have to join now!  Every additional member is just another chance to learn more about vacation spots, and of course another chance for good conversation.  You might not be able to find information on every vacation spot in the world as the majority of users talk about beach vacations, however you can always start up a thread and start adding your knowledge of every place you go!!  Hope to see you there!
