Chef'n Strawberry Huller does remove strawberry hulls; however I find it a lot quicker to do it the old fashioned way with a paring knife. Perhaps even twice as fast. I will say that you lose less strawberry fruit when using this huller though. For me it's just not worth the extra time if I am doing a lot of strawberries though. Ease of Cleaning It is dishwasher safe. I just rinse it and put it in the silverware holder. Durability I have had mine for several years and it is still holding up just fine. Design It works very well to remove the hulls from strawberries but it does take longer to use than a traditional paring knife,
