This product works better for me than the prescription medicine for Eczema I got from the doctor. It's leaves your skin soft and not oily. After you use it for about 6 months it may not work as well. But if you take a break for a short time it will be fine.

My 7-year-old daughter had a problem with histamine - her body produced more of it then other kids, and it would show up as itchy hives all over her skin.  She doesn't have allergy issues - just extra histamine.  We were able to get her a perscription to combat much of that, and she is much better off.  However, we had to do something while we were figuring it all out.  We tried so many different lotions - benedryl, caladryl, etc...  Nothing seemed to work to take off some of the itch.  I finally grabbed 2 different Cortizone 10 items - not the generic versions, but the real ones.  One is a stick that she can "roll on" at school over her bumps - a liquid that spreads well.  The other was more of a traditional lotion with added ingredients like aloe vera for the house.  I can't say that she was instantly cured of all itch, but I can say that this was the only over-the-counter lotion that helped her.  She could stand her own skin when I applied this lotion.  It never stung her, and it didn't smell bad.  It took off a lot of the itch while she was waiting for her meds to work.  I would definitely buy this again!

My son has had eczema since he was an infant.  Very few products work and most lotions and creams just sit on his skin and does very little to alleviate the itching and redness.  I was using just regular cortizone but it tends to stop working effectively after a while and I have concerns about using so much cortisone on such a small child. Prescription lotions worked alright for a while but that stuff is much stronger and who knows about the side effects on developing bodies.  I got another script for a different cream but decided to give the over the counter lotions another try.  I found Cortizone 10 excema and thought why not it a try.  Wish it wasn't so expensive, in relation to the regular cortizone cream. A few application after bathtime and before bedtime, has done wonders in clearing up the scaly patches and the red irritations on  my son's skin.  Scent is relatively mild and not too annoying.  It doesn't seem to bother my son.  After usage for a week, his skin looks much better and he doesn't seem as itchy.  Hope this will continue to work throughout the winter or I will need to find another product to use.
