Most HelpfulRegular Customer Service sometimes are not so good.
They need more training in the regular customer service area so you feel more satisfied as a customer when you get off the telephone with them.
You do have to watch their fees and rates.

Most HelpfulAfter a terrible experience with Chase in the 1980's, I decided never to waste my time with them. Unfortunately, they bought my BankOne credit card account in recent years. It was a great points program for Disney I had enjoyed since it was first offered. That program paid for a large portion of...
review »I had Chase, years ago and was so displeased with their pratices I paid the card off and closed the account.
Recently, my previous credit card company was purchased by Chase, much to my dismay. Not wanting to deal with Chase again, I paid off my the balance as stated. They charged interest for the days that the card held a balance the previous month. When I called to see what was going on, I got an extremely rude representative. No one offered any solution, except "pay a little extra and we'll send you a check for the amount that you over pay."
Once I get everything settled, I will be closing...
review »Chase/JP Morgan is reducing credit lines and canceling credit cards based upon statistical analysis of credit card accounts. In some cases they are not notifying the card holder that the account is closed or the credit limit reduced until after the customer finds that their card does not work. This is a very clear example of poor business and management practices for a company that was bailed out by the taxpayers. In my case, one credit card was from Providian, then Washington Mutual and then Chase, which had been used for 11 years with no late payments during this time.
This isn't the way...
review »I obsessively check my bank balance online. One day, I noticed that my credit card payment was much less than it should've been. I had paid by mailing in a check, and I immediately looked at my checkbook to see if I had made a mistake. Nope; the carbon copy had the correct amount. The amount Chase had "credited" me was less than the minimum payment. I'll spare you the agonizing details, but here's what I learned from this experience, in the hopes it will help others:
Chase may make a typo when processing your paper check. They will admit that it's their typo, but only after you have...
review »I've had Chase accounts or accounts purchased by Chase. My family & friends carry Chase credit cards as well and after comparing our notes, it's undeniable how horribly they conduct business. We've had phone calls that went nowhere, disputes that had no resolution except, of course, in their favor, and to make matters worse, there is absolutely NOTHING you can do in your defense. Yes, even if they are in the wrong, you will still be charged the late fees. One phone rep actually went as far as to disclose information that "they are not ever allowed to reverse late charges... no matter what!"...
