Everything about this card is awesome, the customer service, the rewards program, the online interface, etc. By far the best aspect of this credit card is the rewards program which is unlike any other rewards program I am enrolled in. You get extremely high earn rates, especially on travel. Redeeming is quick and easy and you can redeem for anything from cash to gift cards from TONS of retailers. You can also redeem for a discount on travel via their website. Customer Service Outstanding customer service. I hardly ever have to wait for more than a few minutes to speak to a real person and they almost always speak clean English. If I have any type of problem, they go above and beyond to make sure I am a happy card member, which I absolutely am. Available Rates I don't pay much attention to rates since I always pay it off in full. But to the best of my knowledge, the rates are competitive with other similar credit cards.

We did a ton of research before going with this card, and I'm even more pleased now that we have it! The difference between the regular and the PREFERRED is the $95 annual fee, 20% off travel booked on the rewards site, a bonus year end dividend, and a few other perks. Earning rewards has been easy with extra points on dining and travel (excluding gas), and if you follow links to online shopping through the rewards site you earn extra points. I've earned 4 points per dollar on American Eagle and Overstock.com. Customer Service Each of the times I've called, I never have been through an automated system. It rings 1-3 times and someone picks up, so they really value your time. So far I've spoke with people in Missouri and Florida. I once had a problem with our statement and they immediately fixed it. One time we had a finance charge, and they helped wave it even though it was our fault. I'm never spend more than a few minutes on the phone getting my questions answered. Their rewards website is also great and easy to use. We recently redeemed a last minute hotel night less than 24 hours before checking in with no problems. Available Rates We never carry a balance, so I haven't been too concerned. It'a around 15%. Another great thing about the preferred, is it has no foreign transaction fee. That's normally 3%, so we've saved a lot of money with that.
