We have the Chase VISA card, which rewards the top 3 catagories used each month with a 3% reward. We use it for our grocery shopping and our numerous prescription purchases, which really add up. I love the fact that, since we pay our balances off every month as soon as we get our bill, we are in effect getting free money. It doesn't cost us any more and in fact it gives us the benefit of the "float", since the purchases we used to pay cash or check for don't go against our checking account until the end of the month now. As we are retired and on a fixed income, we appreciate all the little bonuses...

This is great rewards card if you pay balance in full monthly. Prior comment was right - possibilities are nearly endless. Saw this card recommended in financial magazine due to rewards. Company sends out 20+ page brochure with gifts to chose from for the points accumulated or you can redeem for cash, 10,000 points = $100. Another good thing, the account earns triple points for purchases at gas stations, grocery stores and drug stores. The points expire in 60 months if not used. The MAXIMUM points that can be earned in one year is only 75,000, so that can be a problem. After earning 75,000 points,...

I've had this card for a few years now and have never had any problems. I pay my whole balance off every month, so the slightly higher interest rate is not a problem for me. I use it to buy everyday stuff like groceries and my gym membership, and just watch my rewards build up! The points can be used for cash or gift cards. I have gotten a couple checks so far and they are easy to purchase with points and come quickly. The only problem with the rewards points that I've seen is that it doesn't count my Safeway grocery store as a grocery store, so I could be earning my points faster. ...

i have had my chase card for 6 months and i am loving it. when you first sign up they give you $50. trust me when i say that i truly needed it. i went over my limit and they took off the charges as a one time courtesy with no hesitation. i recommend this card to anyone who is looking for a credit card with a lot of different reward options.
