When they offer you a balanced transfer, beware, they will charge you up to wahoo, they will not tell you that upfront, they will notify you after the fact. When they say for the life of the loan, be careful, they decide how long is the life of that loan, so you will end up paying up to your neck, or they will raise your balance transfer APR to a higher rate to lower your payment. It does not matter if you pay early, on time or have been a customer for a long time in good standing, they will tell you what you want to hear, then punish you from taking on the offer.
