It always seems like the people that have "Money" can get student loans easier and faster from the Government and and banks, etc. I'm trying to get my Daughter loans and they say she doesn't qualify. Since my divorce in 1999, when I got ordered to pay these bills, hurt me. I have not credit. My ex wife got away with everything. I recieved 4 things. She got my pension of almost $51, 000.00. This judge is all for the woman which isn't right. The government should make it easier for people that are in my situation a break and let them be able to go to college. I'm a Disabled Veteran and because 9 years past, I can't even go to college. Again, its the Government that should change this program around so that people in my situation and my Daughters should just send us to school. My ex, bought the house and Blazer that we were going to but and she won't take out a 2nd home loan at least for my Daughter. There are I beleive that there are 3 or 4 states that doesn't charge you for going to college. I'm not sure what states they are and I believe that you have to live there. Think about it. In High school, they put it in your head to go to school. But who has the money to pay for it.
