I have had my Chase Disney Visa card for slightly over a year. I am happy with the customer service, and with the rewards that are offered with the card. For instance, cardmembers have access to an exclusive character meeting and photo opportunity at Epcot. Showing your Disney Visa also affords you a discount at certain shops within Disney property, as well as a free 5"x7" photo per day while in the parks. When my husband and I took our kids to Walt Disney World this past summer, we actually got to take advantage of the cardmembers-only character meeting/photo opportunity at Epcot, and the line for this was considerable shorter than for any other character spot, so that was a nice benefit. But probably the best benefit of this card is the periodic discounts offered on Disney trips...and those discounts can be quite steep!
I like the ability to manage my account online so much that I have actually opted for paperless billing. This makes my life easier, and helps by eliminating the clutter and waste of traditional paper statements.
The Disney dollars are earned at the rate of 1 per $100 spent. These reward dollars can then be redeemed via a gift card (The card is mailed, and can take up to 30 days from the date it is requested.)
The only downside to this card, in my experience, is the rather high interest rate. There certainly are a plethora of credit cards with lower rates. But for our family, the special Disney perks are enough to make this card worthwhile. I would definitely recommend the Chase Disney Visa...but do yourself a favor and pay the balance of as soon as you are able!
