Chase - Disney Rewards Visa Card —

The Disney Chase Visa card almost single-handedly got me out of debt--helping me wipe clean $6000 with its 0 percent interest for 18 months on balance transfers and purchases. Meanwhile, I racked up huge rewards with its 1 percent back and fantastic promotions. In one year, while rarely using the card, I received $135 in Disney Rewards. Most of that came during a 3-month promotion offering 5x rewards. Another promotion, in which my girlfriend took advantage, was $25 if she used the card 15 times in three months. She only spent $100. That's 25 percent back. Can't beat that!

A Florida resident and Disney fanatic, I have also taken advantage of the discounts and free charater photos at Epcot. There are also numerous discounts outside the parks. Plus, 0 percent financing on Disney vacations for 6 months is a big plus.

While some have mentioned the high interest rates associated with this card, I have found the opposite to be true. I currently enjoy 5.24% interest--the lowest by far of any non-promotional rate I have ever received. Chase also makes it easy to track and pay your card online.

HI! Funny you should ask about the promotions. I just yesterday received an e-mail for another 5X promotion. This time, however, the hurdles are much greater. I must spend $500 on gas, groceries, dining and airlines per month before the 5X begins. My last promotion was much easier to meet. But yes, my girlfriend and I receive an e-mail alerting us. We must then either call or sign up online. It doesn't cost a thing, but you must enroll. However, I'm not quite sure how Chase/Disney determines who gets the promotions. I just know that you must receive a notice to enroll--it's not open to everybody. I hope this helps. Should you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Hello! I was wondering how you and your girlfriend knew about the special promotions for the extra rewards? Did they email you or send out a mailing? I have the same card and was not aware that they had times where you could earn more rewards.

Thanks
