Most HelpfulI have used this card for over four years. I have traveled internationally, gone through college with this card, gone through my masters with this card. The protection provided with this card is great. I bought an item online and the company didn't provide the services promised, and charged me...

I applied for a standard Chase Credit Card years ago; I have kept most of my payments on time and have paid above the minimum payment. Once I missed a month due to being in the hospital and they charged me their ridiculous late fee of thirty nine dollars, really $39!!!! That fee pushed me about two dollars over my limit and so they smacked me with an additional $39 fee. In my opinion this is taking advantage of the customer. I tried calling and explaining my situation and they reused to reduce the fees. After I made my payment they charged me $39 yet again!!!! Then, in one month they changed...
read full review »JP Morgan Chase is not a bank or credit card company to do business. Everything I ever learned in college in the business realm, is totally opposite the way Chase operates. When my bank was unfortunately, bought by Chase, the hardcore, hardline, "quilty until proven inoccent" style of their work ethics, sent me on an investigation to find a credit card company (and thus, a bank), that does business ethically, with integrity and one who valuse its customers.
SO here's an example of a person who was never late with any payments in 35 years (obviously, a senior), who pays off credit cards in...
read full review »I received a letter today from Chase (credit card) saying that they were going to lower my limit on my credit card. The reason they are lowering my limit is because I have a high balance on two cards (both through Chase).
I am in the finance industry and know a good amount about credit scores and I have a relatively high score 700+. The reason why I have a high limit is because I lend my brother some money off of the card, on a balance transfer.
My question is why would they lower my credit limit even though I have a high score? The way I see it, the loan for my brother is like co-signing...
read full review »I had two Chase credit cards, one with a rewards program coming over from the MyPoints rewards with WAMU, and another no rewards card. The rewards don't add up very fast but are a nice perk to get some extras once in awhile. After low introductory rates the cards shot up to above 20% interest as is typical with rewards cards. I use the cards regularly and never had a problem before. However, last month, Chase cancelled the no rewards card, which had a low balance and I had been paying on time on both. These were great cards but I wouldn't suggest Chase products because they are likely to cut you...

I called them up and got all over them for that.
A week after they sent me my new card they sent me a letter stating that I was a credit risk and closed my account. What is so funny is that the two years I had the credit card I was never late and always paid more then the amount they asked for!
I am trying to get myself out of the mess that I got myself into financially wise. I set up a payment plan with chase so that I could pay them off and be done with them. I did pay them in full of the 2000.00 that I owed them but instead of fixing that on my credit report which said I had an 8000.00 balance they called me a liar. Even after I faxed them a copy of my credit report they said that I made it up. If they cant even admit wheen they have wronged the customer what makes me think that when I need to use them again I will get the great service that I deserve.
when u are in default the creditor call u 100 times a day and hang up on you never say antything just keep calling you check ouit your caller ids i think this is harrament
it should eb be register with the better business burena that is illegal
I'm sure all credit cards are the same, but I find Chase to be unusually unforgiving. I had one late payment (1 day late) and my interest rate sky-rocketed to 29.9%. Luckily I don't carry a large balance. Don't let this happen to you
I really think that this credit card company Chase is very greedy and really doesn't care about the customer. At the end of the day they only really care if you made your last payment, not about a customers maybe hardship. But i really think the worst customer service from them was when one month i tried to make a early payment, but little to my knowledge my cycle hadn't come to a close on for the previous month. So chase looked at it as if i had made a double payment. They repeatedly hounded me the next month that i had not made a payment and demanded a payment, the worst part was when they repeatidly...
