We have paid in full the balance of our Chase/BP card every month for years. I must confess to not really paying much attention to it. I just looked at the balance and paid it. The gas is too expensive

I have a BP credit card but I don't use it. The price of BP gas is usually 5 cents or more per gallon than any other gas station. On the corner can be a Chevron and a BP and the Chevron will be lower. Down the street is a Shell gas station and it will be even lower than the other two.

I love having this card because when I buy gas with it I end up getting a gift card after a few purchases. I am gonna be buying the gas anyways and it is nice to get a little something back in return

Late fee three times minimum payment!

Very bad company.  We had a perfect record for three years of always paying the full balance on time.  In June of 2009 we wrote the check and mailed the bill well in advance of the due date.  They never got it.  Either the Post Office or their proccessing center lost it.  The minimum payment was $10.  They charge us a $29 late fee.  We  appealed, thinking with  our good record they would waive the fee.  We also immediately sent in a payment for the balance which they got.  They would not waive or reduce the fee.  I strongly recomend against dealing with a company/bank like this.

Excellent deal with 5% back on Gas purchases. It dont sound like much but hey its like getting .20c per gallon discount.
