Ok here it is. I so hate it when i get these offers in my e-mail address. It's so annoying and I wish they would stop. Even after I take them off my received mail list, some how they still make it through. ugh. When are these companies going to learn that some peple just don't want to be bugged like that? I beleive in education. I beleive you have a right to choose the college you want to go to , but leave me alone.

I have overall been very impressed with Charter Oak State College.  They have given me a way of getting an accredited degree quicker and with less expense than other alternatives.  They also have given me great customer service, and have been very helpful.  They seem to fit best for students who may have taken a lot of college in different things in the past, but never got a full degree, or for students who have learned a lot through work experience but never got a degree.  But if someone was just starting college, and they were truly a self-motivated learner, Charter Oak can give them more flexibility than most online colleges could, and for a smaller price tag.

Charter Oak was a great experience. They accepted 108 of my college credits and I was able to take a couple of their on line courses and pass two CLEP test to finish my degree. I flew to CT and went through the graduation ceremony only months after enrolling. Don't get me wrong, the classes are not easy and this is not a degree mill. Be prepared to write more than you have ever had to both for the college required papers and for the on line courses. After 25 years Charter Oak gave me a realistic path to graduation.

Charter Oak is a joke.  They use the bait and switch tactic to have you pay their $75 application fee, only to inform you that you MUST take 20+ additional credits in order to obtain your degree.  I have more than enough credits to graduate and yet they still "found" credits that I will need.  Joke school, joke staff, I am glad I found out before it was too late.  My employer chuckled when I told him I had been considering enrolling at Charter Oak.  There are far too many public institutions out there instead of wasting time and energy on an online school with shady practices.
