I have had Charter for a number of years and the only good thing about it is most of the time you have internet service and regular channels, but most days your paid channels and music channels become fuzzy right in the middle of a movie. The main complaint I had with Charter was in selling me their bundle of services, which I have all except telephone and they came and switched my services, gave me a new telephone number and all of a sudden, I was out of my area for my neighbors to call me from their service from AT&T, so everyone who called me was having to pay long distance, even right across the street, because they had given me a out of the area number and come to find out, my area is not accessible to their service and it took me almost a month of calling them to get it straightened out. The bill was in my husbands name and they let me switch it, but when I called to tell them that my number was long distance to everyone around me, they informed me that they could not help what AT&T charged to others, my number was still local and when I kept calling, they informed me that they did not have to speak with me since my name was not on the bill, so we put my name on the bill and I still had trouble with them. They never admitted they were wrong in installing the service to start with, never gave me any credit and still charged me for the phone service I had used until I had it cut off and if I had not have left my AT&T phone line hooked up for the month, I would have had to pay to have it hooked back up also, then they promised to come hook it up again and get their modem and they never showed up but kept telling me they would be here, but all they did was disconnect their service and forget about me. The only reason I got service is because I am friends with a tech who finally came late at night to hook my phone back up, get the modem and return it and our service rate has increased two times this year. More money and less service.
