Customer service and technicians have always been very courteous

Budget-Conscious, technically challenged
Pros

    great channels for the kids, much better than satellite, enjoy free on-demand selections and DVR, interactive guide fun and helpful

Cons
    Only Cable Available in Our Area

When we moved into our home, we had DirectTV satellite service. It was very aggravating with the separate remotes and no local channels. If a breeze kicked up, our service was out. When  we bought our new hi-def digital TV, we decided to go with cable, with Charter being our local provider. They have always been great about customer service and the technicians they have dispatched have been very courteous, polite and patient as they explained our system. I just wish the service was a little less expensive, but I am willing to pay more for what I get vs. what I was getting from satellite. We love our DVR and use it almost daily.
