Charter has been called Wave Broadband for some time. This is the first time we have had digital cable and I'm really enjoying it. We got a good 3-month intro price for the Bronze package, and it will be a lot more expensive once the intro rate goes away soon. Of course, Wave knows you will enjoy all the extra channels and the DVR so much, and especially the digital interactive guide, that you will not be willing to give them up. I fear this will be true in our case. We used to have basic cable and I thought that was all I would ever need. But if you have only had hamburger and never tried filet mignon, that's sort of the same comparison. The digital interactive guide allows you to scan the listings hours or days ahead, find shows you want to watch, and set a remiinder that will flash on your screen at times you specify to remind you to watch them, or you can record them on the DVR that came with our package and watch at your convenience. I was also surprised to see there were several free on-demand programs; I thought there would be extra charges for all of those. I also love the fancy remote that lights up at night! We get The Movie Channel and Showtime with our package. For what we are going to be paying, I wish we got more of the premium stations included. But we are really enjoying the wide selection and being able to plan ahead on our viewing with the interactive guide.
