Well, when I first moved into this area, I got cable through Charter. I called them and made appointments with them twice before they finally showed up, for one. Then when they did, they sent someone who didn't know what they were doing because it took him over 2 hours to install it.....and then something went wrong and I couldn't watch TV for almost 2 weeks, but I sure paid for it! When it finally got fixed, then they kept raising prices on me. I could never get any help when I needed it or get my questions answered about my bill. Then pay-per-view movie charges started showing up on my bill...which was weird, because I had that blocked! They kept saying they would take that off the bill, and of course, that never happened! I finally got fed up and told them to shut it off.....and guess what! It took them 3 months to do it, and I still got billed! I called them every day for a week telling them to come and unhook it, and still to this day I have a back bill for those 3 months that I refuse to pay for!
Unfortunately, they are the only cable company around this area, so I am living in the past because I went and bought rabbit-ears so I could get a couple of channels, and I am constantly spending money on DVDs, which is expensive.....but it's worth it! At least I am not getting jerked around and scammed that way! Never in my life have I ever had such a hard time with a cable company!
Don't waste any money getting this cable if you live in the area because all they will do is rip you off for as much money as they can get!
