Charmin Basic Toilet Paper Reviews

This toilet paper is soft and everything but I don't care for it much because the lint. Every time I pulled it off the roll you could see the little white lint fuzzies going into the air. I'm not crazy about that. We also go through Charmin really fast too for some reason.

I tried this product, Charmin Basic, a couple of years ago when I saw it for $5.00 at the local Dollar General. I would generally buy a "long lasting product" such as Scott tissue or a store brand. They simply were not as absorbant. I eded up running out much faster than I expected, plus they were not as soft.

Although the price has slightly increased, I still choose to buy Charmin Basic on a regular basis. Many times I will see either in-store coupons or manufacturer coupons in the local Sunday paper. By using the coupons, I actually seem to get the product for less than before the price increase,...

Well I always bought Charmin Soft before this because I was always proud of the Charmin brand and I never planned to switch! When they came out with an economy line of their product I thought it seemed semi silly but I assumed it was of lower quality ilke the  generic competitors or cheap papery feeling but I was surprisingly impressed when I bought a package to test and absolutely loved it. I am very picky about my toilet paper and I would never go back to even soft I tend to find this the perfect blend of FIRM and SOFT all at once- and my family all prefer it as well. Charmin has recently changed the weave of their ultrasoft toilet paper and it isn't for the better.  True, this new weave is stronger, however if I wanted strong, I would've bought the ultra strong one.  Speaking of which, it seems like they've changed the ultra strong too.  The ultra soft now feels like the ultra strong and the ultra strong now feels like cardboard.  I knew that alot of people were happy with the original ultrasoft.....don't know why they decided to change it.  From reading other reviews, it looks like a lot of customers aren't happy about the new weave.  I hope that they...

Charmin Basic has become my family's favorite brand of toilet tissue.  We never even look at the other brands.  It is worth every penny and not expensive.  Its soft and gentle, last for a long time, and does NOT leave behind lint.
