This grill looked good and performed fine for 3 years, then all the undercarriage rusted out, it literally fell apart, and it had to be replaced this year. The Stainless steel top and grill surface, all look like brand new, but the stand and all the undercarriage rusted out and fell apart. Performance all the undercarriage rusted out in less than 3 years Versatility the stainless steel top is still like new but un-useable. Ease of Use I like the grill till this year when I had to haul it off! Ease of Cleaning it cleaned up good, no problems here Durability It fell apart after 3 years! I was shocked. I know that you are expecting longer service out of a grill than this, as I was, but if that is the case do not buy this grill, or make sure that every part of it is made from stainless steel. I thought I was buying a grill that would last for many years, boy was I fooled by this one. Don't you make the same mistake. Design all the under carriage is made from reg. mild steel and it rusted out and fell apart

This grill is a perfect size for your deck. I like the porcelain grids which are very easy to clean. The lower doors are nice to hide the BBQ tools and the gas tank. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. The heat settings are easy to adjust and has a wide range of temperatures. The outside of the grill is easy to keep clean.

We were excited when we first got this unit but were shocked how fast it ran thru the Propane compared to the unit we have had in the past. I also do not like how hard it is to keep this one clean. Mold grows on it fast, here where we live. That was not as bad as an issue with the other unit. We thought we were doing an upgrade where instead I got a lot more work for me. The grill is not easy to keep clean and if I had it to do over again, I would have walked past this one. At first it looked real nice and worked just fine, but the issues that followed soon after made us wish we had never bought this unit.. Close the lid on this one and keep on looking... Performance Works okay but you better own a propane company and like working hard to keep it clean Versatility Not what I was hoping for. If you are a burger and steak cooker this would be okay but if you like to do anything that might take a little while to BQ, RIB's, Chicken, and so on, it will cost you too much to fix your food as this unit burns thru the propane fast Ease of Use When you first get it, you will be happy with it. The more you use it you will not be friends with it. Ease of Cleaning Grills are not easy to clean compared to cheaper units I have owned. If you live in a damp area it grows mold real fast for some reason. It starts to look old fast and with looks alone, you will want to replace it. Durability All components work fine Design This was the part that caught my eye. I loved how it looked and was set up. But she ended up being just like a prom date. I HAVE TO SAY IT IS A VERY STYLISH, ATTRACTIVE, FEATURE FILLED GAS BARB-B-QUE! BUT THE BUCK STOPS THERE. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IT WAS THE FIRST NEW GAS BARB-B-QUE I HAD EVER BOUGHT AND WOW WHAT A SIGHT SO BEAUTIFUL. I TOOK EXTRA CARE EACH TIME IT WAS USED TO I THOROUGHLY CLEAN IT. WHEN I PURCHASED IT I WENT ALL OUT WITH THE PURCHASE OF A NEW LP GAS TANK AND SPECIAL HEAVY DUTY COVER FOR PROTECTION EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STORED ON A PATIO UNDER A COVERED ROOF. BOY WAS I DISAPPOINTED AFTER ONE SEASON OF MINIMAL USE THE BURNER UNITS WHERE THE FLAME COMES OUT DISINTEGRATED AND I MEAN JUST CRUMBLED THE REGULATOR HOSE CAUGHT ON FIRE AND EXPLODED WHICH WAS VERY SCARY AND THANK GOODNESS NO ONE WAS INJURED OR HURT. SO BASICALLY ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT LOOKS NICE AND YOU CAN USE MAYBE A DOZEN TIMES AT THE MOST BEFORE YOU HAVE A SKELETON BARB-B-QUE SITTING IN YOUR YARD AND BEFORE IT BLOWS UP ON YOU GO AHEAD AND BUY THIS BRAND. I WILL NEVER BUY THAT BRAND CHARMGLOW BARB-B-QUE OR ANYTHING THEY MAKE AGAIN .

Wheels rusted badly after 1 year.  Manufacturer claimed not covered under guarantee. Stainless steel shows spots and cannot be cleaned. Cooks unevenly.  Charmglow is now a chinese maker who bought the name of a once quality product. Stay away from this manufacturer.

The Charmglow Grill has a nice heavy cast iron lid, nice big casters, 4 burners and coated grills. The price was right and I decided to take a chance on this much bigger grill rather than go with a Weber. My money would have been better spent on something else. I returned the first one I bought because two of the burners wouldn't light. The second one I brough home had a similar but less severe issue. I called Charmglow, which I think is operated by Brinkmann and after a lengthy phone tree, they sent me a replacement regulator at no cost. The new regulator helped but the grill simply does not heat evenly. There is a hot side and a cool side. Even with the new regulator, the grill does not heat to 500 degrees with all burners on high. My only other complaint is the door. It does not stay closed fwwls very flimsy. I would not buy another Charmglow. I would much rather pay the same amount for a smaller grill.

We picked up a charmglow a month ago or so aty Home Depot. One thing I can say it heats up thats for sure, although Im not sure what you would want all the heat for. We cook on low and even then you really need to keep an eye on it otherwise you'll be having burnt food. Cooks little uneven but no big deal. Looks good, works decent for the price so no real complaints here at this point.
