Charmed Review

If you haven't seen the show, I definitely recomend it! It's about 3 sisters who dicover they have inherited a legacy of magic. The girls, Prue, Piper, and Pheobe, have their differences, as do any siblings, but their newfound powers bring them together after loosing their "Grams". Their father is absent, and their mother, as we later dicover, was killed by a demon. They grow as sisters as the show progresses over 2 seasons, fighting off demons, warlocks, and broken hearts. Piper finds love with her angelic guide; Prue looses her adoring, and helpful cop to a demon; and Pheobe falls for a demon turned good. The ultimate demon, The Source, sends his assasin to kill "The Charmed Ones" once and for all. Leo, now Piper's husband, Can only save Piper, after they are attacked, thus Prue leaves the show. Alas, would this be an end to our beloved show? No! Pheobe and Cole, he beloved demon, discover a long lost sister- the love child of their mother and her whitelighter. Thus the show is able to continue for 5 more seasons. Pheobe gets married and divorced, spawns a demonic child that destroys itself, and becomes a famous coloumnist for a well known paper. Piper has 2 beautiful boys, and divorces Leo, only to rediscover her love for him and saves him after he clips his wings for her. Paige is half-whitelighter, half-witch, and comes into her powers eagerly (after she learns what good she can do.) She becomes a teacher, and eventually marries a mortal. The sisters save countless innocents, and sometimes themselves in the process.

There are too many episodes that i can claim as a favorite to name. I lived and breathed that show, I hated that they ended it, but i'm glad the way that they did it. One thing i always thought was funny was how much Piper's personality is just like my mom's! They're afraid of spiders, have a temper, etc., and when Piper and Leo divorced, so did my parents! I was sorry to see Prue go, but apparently Shannon Doherity fought with Holly and Alissa so much, that she couldn't even make a "ghost" appearance for the final episode. All in all, I have all 8 seasons, and would recomend it as a good show, catch it on TNT if you don't take my word for it.
