The movie is quite interesting and gives an inside view on how congress works. In "CWW",congressman Charlie from the great state of TX is a fun-loving US patriot. He and his matronly lady freind decide to help the down-trodden Afghani people rid their country of Russian oppression by contributing arms and money to freedom fighters in Afghanistant in the mid 80's. Its a thoroughly satisfying movie the way Hollywood used to be,glamorous sets,back room government dealings,exotic locales and fantasticaly perky characters all blend to make it a pleasure to watch.For he's a Charlie good-fellow that can hustle the muscle and money to aid foriegn nations in strife.
