Thsi wine can be foudn at Trader Joe's stores. It is affordable ($2.00 a bottle) and comes in whites and reds. Trader Joe's will exchange/reutrn it if you don't like the wine. Although it is commonly and jokingly referred to as "2 Buck Chuck" it has won awards. You can't go wrong with at least giving it a try! The chardonnay is light and not too oaky. Slightly dry and very pleasant.

I purchased Charles Shaw Chardonnay at Trader Joe's for $2.99 a bottle. It tastes great and I used to drink wines that were much more costly. The first time I heard about it was on the Today Show. There was a wine tasting contest in CA and to everyone's surprise, this wine beat out the more expensive wines as judged by the experts.
