I love my Char griller! If you want a little charcoal taste, you can have it, or for those who don't want the charcoal, well they can have it! You can do both at once on this grill to please them all, or use the gas side for those things you would rather keep a control of the temperature. There is a side plate to put your pan cooking items in, and you have the option of attaching a smoker (additional purchase) right to the side of the grill! My old propane BBQ died after 8 years of heavy use.  I finally decided on the CharGriller Duo so I could do real BBQ sometimes, use the propane grill when in a hurry, and use the side burner for blackened fish.  I bought it in April and here I am at the end of July, still without a propane regulator that works.  I have three different models, and each one leaks at the bottle.  The company also took it's sweet time replacing the one grill that was missing a large amount of it's porcelain coating.  I contacted them right after I got the BBQ about that, and it took about 8 weeks to get a replacement. ...
