To say that I am a fan of Chanel is to say "the sky is blue."  It's a very obvious, very un-necessary statement to make.  And Chanel's Le Vernis Nail polish is no exception.  With a wide variety of beautiful, rich colours, and a name like "Chanel" stamped onto each bottle, you simply cannot go wrong.  Just using the nail colour makes you feel a little more chic and sophisticated than usual.  This is top of the line, but the price is fairly reasonable (at least as far as Chanel products go).  So if you feel like indulging and treating yourself to a beautiful at-home manicure, I highly recommend grabbing Chanel Le Vernis in any shade!  The texture is very user-friendly, and the colour is pigmented enough where you don't need to use very many coats; I found that 2 coats is just perfect for the coverage that I like on my nails, and sometimes only one coat will do the trick!  If worn with a good base and top coat, the polish lasts a long time, too!  How can you top that?

  I am a girly girl and therefore I love doing my nails and I love shopping for nail polishes. I have to admit I do buy more than one brand but I do have two or three brands in my collection that are my favorites and I depend on them for quality and consistency.  When I do my nails I use a base coat, two coats of polish, and then a top coat and with these four easy steps my mani or pedi last at least a week without chipping and it looks great just as a salon would look but for a fraction of the price. I have to admit Chanel nail polishes are a luxury and a treat I indulge in every so often and when I do it never disappoints. They are just so good.. they go on smoothly and stay for a really long time no chipping and shiny the whole time. For the holidays if you are looking for a gift for that friend that has everything you should consider this as you can't go wrong with it. Or if you haven't tried them yet then you should.

I usually use mid-price nail polishes.  The colors are fresh and interesting, and updated regularly.  My go-to brand is OPI, but when I read about the rush for Chanel Paradoxal (this was in mid-July), I decided to give it a try.  I have used Chanel nail polish before and while I find it to be a high quality product, I also find that if you are going to do any cooking or dish washing or even wash your hair, polish chips after several days, especially if you have natural nails.  With that in mind, I still bought the Chanel.  The color is really cool.  At first it is a a purpley-brown.  Very vivid.  After a couple of days (and this might not occur if you use topcoat every couple of days), it settles into more of a matte purple-gray.  In the bottle the polish looks sparkly, but it isn't on the nails.  It isn't a grape purple either.  It is evident just by looking at the color in the bottle that it is a melange of colors which work together to give us this amazing deep, but not red-black, shade.  The color has been on my nails for 9 days and it is coming off tonight.  It is too chipped to save.  I won't buy Chanel regularly, but when a color is this different, I will happily hand over my credit card.

Chanel Le Vernis Nail Colour tends to set the color trends of the next season - you always see Chanel nail polish in fashion and beauty magazines, and some of the colors sell out like crazy!  The colors are very creative and intriguing, and I am always looking for something new and exciting, so Chanel nail polishes are a good fit for me!  They only have a dozen or so colors at a time, and the colors change often with the season - so if you really like a color, I'd suggest buying several bottles at a time in case it disappears. Chanel nail polishes also are very durable and last a long time without chipping.  I can't stand a tiny chip and always need to re-do the nail if there's a small chip in the polish, and this happens a lot less with Chanel nail polishes.  I can go a couple weeks without seeing a chip.  I also wash my hands a lot (germophobe), and these polishes are able to withstand a lot of hand-washing and still look great.

I work with the public and so my hands are constantly being watched.  It's important that my manicure look good, and it's important that my polish not crack and chip, but rather last through the length of time between manicures. Chanel polish, while a bit pricey, does exactly that.  It will easily last 2 weeks without chipping, and I appreciate that I don't have to constantly add layers of top coat to keep it looking good! This is a product that is every bit as good as the other Chanel products, and I would swear by every one of them.  I am quickly becoming a Chanel convert!  I would urge everyone to give their polish a try - even their dark colors last and last - no chipping at all - what a find!
