I love perfume and can't be without it. Even if I'm just doing things around the house, I always put on some perfume on. My taste varies-I like either fresh floral/aquatic scents or warm sweet ones. Here is an example-one of my favorite perfumes is L'eau Par Kenzo(very fresh aquatic scent) and Samsara by Guerlain(warm, sexy, vanilla and jasmine scent).
As a result I always try new perfumes when I'm out shopping. On my most recent shopping trip, I ended up at Chanel's counter and when I bought a lipstick a very nice saleswoman also slipped me couple of samples of Allure Sensualle Eau de Perfume and Body lotion. "Very sexy, men really like it"-she told me, smiling. Ah..as I found out, not the man in my life!
I smelled Allure before and thought it was actually nice. In some way, it reminded me of Samsara, one of my favorites. Allure Sensualle is actually a spicier, richer version of regular Allure. When I sprayed some of my wrist(little more than a drop), right away I thought it was for someone older. The litte drop that I put on my wrist, literally lasted hours. It was still there when my boyfriend came over and immediately wrinkled his nose. "Are you wearing new perfume?" I told him i was trying a sample of something and what did he think? He flatly stated that it smelled old and it was definately not me. He then asked if I just put some on to which I said it was 4 hours ago. This stuff definately lasts!
It is actually a nice perfume if you like this type of a scent but it smells too spicy and rich for me. I wish I liked it more because staying power is awsome!
