I used this when I had major dry skin on my face during last winter (due to windburn). It was a bit too sticky (so lint stuck to my face when I put it on before bed) and made me break out overnight. Actually, after using it a few days, my skin didn't feel like it had underwent any tremendous change and was still flaking. I gave it to  my mother, who has much fairer skin and is not oily at all, and it ended up working well with her.
I have never been really lucky with Cetaphil products. I have used their lotion cleanser and soap bars after so many friends raved about them but they just never seemed to make a difference on my skin. Maybe this is regarded because of my skin type - which is olive, acne-prone, and a tad oily.
