One of the more flavorful beers from Mexico

* Bright burnished copper with short, thin cream colored head.

* Mildly sweet malt aroma with a brief whiff of caramel and toasty notes.

* Foretaste is a repeat of the aroma: subdued sweet malt flavor offers hint of caramel, toast and even nougat.

* Finish is mellow; mild malt sweetness fades away slowly. Balance is in check.

* Body is medium-light; mouthfeel has light palate-coating quality.

Synhopsis:

Dos Equis Ambar (not a misspelling) is the "dark" version of regular Dos Equis.

I've always been a bit partial to the Dos Equis beers for a good reason- these brews have not been completely "Americanized"...
