I would buy this product every time I have a sore throat!

I love these warming lozenges and I hope they still make them. I can't find them anywhere!

Avoid these at ALL costs!

It's not a secret that Cepacol Lozenges are strong. They numb your mouth and throat and are pretty intense but they work. They are usually incredibly soothing on your throat and leave you feeling better for a while afterward. They also do a fairly good job of clearing out your sinuses because they are strong and menthol like. The Cepacol Sensations Warming Lozenges took that strong numbing sensation to a whole new level. It sets your mouth on fire. It sets your throat on fire. It felt like I just ingested a huge amount of red pepper flakes. It was actually painful then I had a nice coughing fit for a few minutes due to the burning in my throat. Do NOT buy these ever ever ever! I bought these once when I was having a particularly bad sore throat and didn't see the usual flavor of these that I get. These are supposed to be cherry flavored. They don't taste very cherry like. Then after about 10 seconds I couldn't tell what I tasted because my mouth and throat were on fire. I didn't even bother trying to tough it out to see if it helped my throat. The burning sensation in my throat threw me into a coughing fit but once it finally disappeared from my throat I stopped coughing. Seriously don't buy these. I have no idea what they have in them but it literally sets your mouth and throat on fire. It's just horrible.

Worst tasting product I've ever had

1

I got a sample of these and gave them a try. They are terrible. They are so bad tasting that I literally had to spit them out and could not finish it. The warming sensation is just really artificial and leaves a terrible taste. I can't speak too much to the effects because they just tasted too bad to suck on for a long time.

Don't try Cepacol Sensations Warming Lozenges. Horrible taste

1

When it comes to coughs, and colds, I have a variety of products in the house. I started with a sore throat, and knew that a cold was coming on. I had a sample of 4 Cepacol Sensations Warming Lozenges, and thought that I would give them a try. On the box they are called 'Cherry soother'. I pushed one through the foil, and popped it into my mouth. I can't describe the taste, it was horrible, nothing like cherry. Then the heat came too, and I could only manage to keep it in my mouth a short period of time. I have no idea if they 'comfort or relieve sore throats', because I would much rather have a cough drop that tastes nice. These went straight in the garbage. Congestion Relief Don't know. They tasted awful. Chest Congestion Relief Don't know. They tasted awful. Relief of Aches & Pains No cough products relieves aches and pains. Cough Suppression Can't tell you as I hated the taste, and heat.

Cepacol Warming Sensations are painfully numbing

2

Let me start by saying that I am a big baby when it comes to medicine that I can taste, especially if I need to keep it in my mouth and taste it for what always feels like an eternity. So I put off putting a Cepacol Warming Sensations lozenge in my mouth for as long as I could, but by the 5th day of my cold my throat was hurting so much I could hardly breathe, much less eat. The thought of warming up my already inflamed throat made me cringe, but it was all I had in the house, so I sucked it up and popped one of the round red cherry lozenges in my mouth. First impression (first 10 seconds or so) was favorable. The taste was tolerable, but I wouldn't have named it cherry. It quickly started burning and feeling pretty uncomfortable in my mouth, but my throat hurt more than the lozenge so I tried to give it a fair try. My tongue became numb, and although I could feel the "warming sensation" in my throat, it did not seem to have the same numbing effect where I needed it as it did in my mouth. I ended up spitting it out after maybe half of it had dissolved because the weird not-painful-just-unpleasant burning became too much. On the bright side, the lozenge did help my throat feel a little less painful for a few minutes - long enough to eat some food. Unfortunately, my mouth stayed numb longer than my throat. I'll be tossing the other 3 lozenges that came with my sample. Congestion Relief Absolutely no congestion relief. Relief of Aches & Pains If your mouth hurts this would probably work great, as long as you don't mind a burning numbness. Also helped my throat (the target area) a little bit. Cough Suppression This is an unfair rating because I do not have a cough. But considering how little it helped my throat, I can't imagine it would be much more effective on a cough.

Cepacol Sensations Warming Lozenges are terrible!

1

I've used Cepacol lozenges in the past, which helped to relieve my sore throat. When I had the opportunity to receive a free sample of the new Cepacol Sensations Warming Lozenges in the cherry soother flavor, I was happy to try it. It wasn't long before I came down with a bad cold, which included a sore throat. I got out my free sample and took one lozenge. Soon after, my tongue started to burn and I had a horrible taste in my mouth that resembled nothing like cherry flavor. Instead of spitting out the lozenge, I decided to give it a try to see if it soothed my sore throat. Not only did it NOT soothe my throat, but it actually irritated it more. My mouth felt like I had sucked on pepper and the taste was just plain bad. I would love to know if anyone likes this product because I honestly can't believe that this passed the testing trials. Save your money and do not purchase these lozenges.
