Century Car Seats are economical and safe. The seat grows with the child until they reach 40 lbs or 4 years of age. The belt positioning on the seat allows for room to grow without pinching the child. This seat is easy to install and is rugged enough to with stand the child as he/she grows into it. The positioning in the rear facing is easy and requires a seat belt to keep it positioned in the back seat of the car. In most cars rides well in the middle of the back seat. In SUV's and mini vans the middle of the second seat. Pickup trucks-turn off the airbag on the passengers side before installing, positioning near the middle of the front seat, if you have a rear jump seat, position back there remembering to use the seat belts.
This a cost effective seat for families on a tight budget. The child gets one seat until 4 years old then can go into a booster seat that lasts until 10 years old. I have 19 grandchildren and everyone of them has used this kind of seat and has not had any problems with this brand.
Car seats work best if you follow the manufactures directions or get help from your local Children's Hospitals about how to position the car seat. Remember car seats are no good if you do not use them, just because the child is belted into the car seat, the car seat must be belted to the car's seat using the car's seat belts.
