Sometimes my little angle grinder just won't do, so I got me a straight grinder of the same size. It is great for polishing and removing rust from some old tools and came in very handy when I was working on our sliding glass door.

Central Pneumatic 1/4" Die Grinder

Using just 3 cfm @ 90 psi and spinning an incredible 25,000 rpms and weighing in at a very heavy 12oz it is a powerhouse. it uses the normal 1/4" npt fitting and unlike the angle grinder this one will only use 1/4" diameter dies. This little grinder makes fast work of deburring tools after I sharpen them and got a lot of the flaking paint and rust off my receiver hitch on my truck.

I also used this little gem along with my portable air tank to fix a busted fitting on my pool pump. At a mind boggling price of $5.95 I just had to have this expensive little tool(more of that Redneck Humor) AS with all air tools you need to add 2 drops of air tool oil before you use it and then wipe it down before putting it away.

Bottom Line

For all those little jobs of grinding, polishing and deburring tools this grinder works great. It always handles what I throw at it and I am glad I got it. I have found Central Pneumatic to have the perfect tool for each of my needs. This one can be had from Harbor Freight with the Item # 52845. Their web site is www.harborfreightusa.com.
