I started using Cellular South around two years ago. They were having an online sale, so I got my LG300 for free. Let me just say that I have not had one problem with them since I started using them. I get great reception pretty much anywhere, there are some spots where I do not get reception but that is understandable. They keep adding new towers everywhere so that is great. Im on a really cheap plan right now, I get 200 minutes and unlimited texting every month for only twenty bucks, a really good deal in my opinion! They have alot of other great plans to choose from too. They also have alot of great phones to choose from. The only bad things are that some of the workers in the Cellular south closest to where I live can be a little snoody and rude. I also have trouble getting messages to send sometime, even when I have service. Overall though I am very pleased with this company and Im planning on staying with them for a long time.

We have just completed 1 year with Cellular South now Cspire, we have 3 LG Samba phones, touch screen, after about 2 months we had to return 2 for touch screen issues, December 26 the third one would not allow you to access anything through touch screen. After countless time on the phone with tech and reps, the end result is, I am eligible for a new phone, will have to pay $80, and sign another contract, or buy the phone, cheapest am $119. I feel that the products they sell should at least last as long as the contract, it seems this is convenient for them. Do not buy this phone or expect them to resolve issue.

Cellular South is the way to go now with the economic crisis hanging over our heads. The Pay Advance plan that Cellular South offer is great. Pay Advance plan is a plan that is non contract, no credit check, unlimited talk and text all for low monthly fee of $50.00 that include tax. Now who would not want a plan like that. I have had this service now for seven months. I wish I had it before now.

The best all around UNLIMITED service for your money

I have had service with multiple providers over the past 20 years and I have found that for my money,  Cellular South has the best service and products, for my hard earned money.  I stay on the road a lot and use it to contact my family, monitor my store,  and keep my business up to speed; without sacrificing service and coverage.  Another good thing I love about Cellular SOuth is that when they quote a figure for a service, my bill reflects exactly what they told me.  That means one less thing for me to have to worry about, and I like that.

I switched to Cellular south when I got my Hero phone (i've reviewed that also) And was quickly impressed with the quality of service as well as the fair billing procedures. The billing plan for unlimited everything for my android phone was 60 dollars a month, not bad. I did drop it to the 40 dollar 500 minute unlimited data plan for financial reasons. I went on a business trip to michigan and didn't have any trouble making phonecalls and 3g was avaliable, so i'm pretty happy with the choice of switching from ATT wireless. (i'm about to review them also, not as high of a praise) I've upgraded my hero since then (watch for another review shortly) but I'm not going to swap providers, Cell south has been very good to me and I've done my part in letting everyone know it. Times are a little tough financially and it's good to see a cheap alternative to a smart phone plan unlike the other major competitors.

They have alot of great deals where you can get many great phones for free or cheap. They have alot of great plans that are cheap too! I use to be with a prepaid phone provider and let me just say Cellular south is sooooo much better. The plan that I currently use has two hundred minutes and unlimited texting all for only twenty dollars a month. I was paying that every 3 weeks on my prepaid phone plan. Thats a really good deal in my opinion! I get really great reception almost everywhere, there are some spots where you dont get reception, but that is understandable. I sometimes have a hard time getting messages to send, but it doesnt happen too often. Overall, I think this is one of the greatest cell phone providers out there. I would reccommend them to anyone.

I've had Cellular South for 6 years and had no problems until now but that's only because I never had phone problems with my no frill phones.

Their customer service is laughable.  Every time, I mean every time I call the person does not know what they are doing.  I spent an hour (yes and hour) on the phone with them one day and was constantly placed on hold so that the person could go read the manual and then instruct me.

So, finally got frustrated and said good-bye.  Dialed them again.  Got a new person and the same thing happened on this person told me to do something completely different.

Cellular South is a regional wireless carrier in the southeast US.  They offer true unlimited plans - unlimited calls, texts or data for a fixed price - for their local calling area and nationwide.  The prices are competetive - $50-$100.  Their coverage is the best in the region & their customer service is excellent.
