Celine Dion - Taking Chances Reviews

Taking Chances is not without its daring moments--we'll get to those--but the first order of business in any review of this much-hyped record, on which Celine Dion is said to have slunk away from her songbird instincts in favor of embracing her inner rock & roll wild child, should be fan reassurance. As a long-time Celine Dion fan, I was afraid that her years in Las Vegas would take a toll on her voice.  But, I was wrong--she sounds better than ever!  I really like the variety of songs on this CD, from pop, to world music, and even a gospel-inspired track.  The only negative comment I have is that I think the last 2 songs could have been omitted.  Nonetheless, this release is a keeper! —… read full review »
