I am skeptical of any tea that promises to release tension, sounds pretty hokey to me, but that is exactly what tension tamer tea does! I have it at the end of the day and it helps slow my mind down so I can get to sleep. I absolutely love the taste, mild and smooth. Perfect with a little honey.

I drank Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer and Sleepy Time tea for many years. And both relaxed me to the point I could enjoy a nap or get to bed early. I loved the flavor and smell of Tension Tamer tea. And was pleased that it worked. I have tried many Celestial Sessobings teas and loved the all. ABout 3 years ago however I purchased a box of Tentions tamer tea and noticed that I felt wired after drinking the tea instead of feeling relaxed. I went through the entire box and had the same result with each tea bag. I thought perhaps this box was old but the date was current. I tried buying Tension Tamer tea at different stores and have had the same result. Perhaps there has been a chemical change in my system. All I know is I love Tension Tamer tea and would still drink it if it had no effect on me at all because it is delicious. But because I feel wired and am unable to relax I had to stop drinking it. If you have had a similar issue, please share.

I love to drink this tea after an especially hectic and stressful day. It tastes great with a drizzle of honey it in. I've even had it over ice, and it's just as good. I've been drinking this tea for years.

A few years ago, I took some steps to create something I'd always wanted, but never quite achieved:  A beautiful bedtime ritual.  Along with my warm shower, lavender sprays and lotions, and easy crosswords, I settled on one delicious, soothing tea that I would reserve exclusively for bedtime:  Celestial Seasonings Tension Tamer.  I prefer it to Sleepytime because I find the tantalizing blend of citrus and mint a little more interesting.  Some nights, the mint seems to be the most prominent flavor; some nights, the citrus stands out.  But one thing is true about every cup: There's just no flavor quite like this. The mint's coolness, the tea's warmth and the citrus tang all combine in perfect balance. One of the simple pleasures of my life now is removing the cellophane from a new box and taking a deep breath.  When this stuff is fresh, it's intoxicating--but in a healthy way, of course. I really think you'll like it.
