The hotel is currently completing some renovation of the building exterior, and many rooms have been refurbished. Although none of the rooms are designated as non-smoking rooms, that did not seem to be an issue, as we checked several rooms prior to checking in. The Celebrity Resorts was extremely outdated and run down. It was in desparate need of some TLC. There was limited parking and what parking they had was not close to our room. Disappointing timeshare getaway deal

My husband & I own a timeshare through Interval International. We booked the Celebrity Resorts in Kissimmee, FL as an additional getaway week.

Normally we book the timeshare ahead, pay the "established fee", and then present paperwork upon check-in.

When we and other traveller's went to check-in at the Celebrity Resorts, staff proceeded to tell us that we had to pay an "additional fee of $3.99 per day" ! This was to cover local phone calls, 30 minutes of long distance a day, and the use of "ONE" computer in the lobby. This was irritating, we don't like being nickeled & dimed. I have a...

Celebrity Resorts Orlando was comfortable. The furniture in the living room was in much need of replacement. Was not aware room had a jacuzzi with hand shower -should have been told hard to bath a toddler, some may not be able to make the steps and step down into this type of tub. Location was very good only 10-15 minutes from disney and certainly plenty of resturants to choose from. Restaurant facility at hotel very small, limited hours. The Celebrity Resorts Orlando in Kissimmee is an excellent place to stay. The mini-suite was tastefully decorated and very inviting. The bedroom had two double sized beds, closet, armoire, tv and suitcase stand. The bathroom had a full size tub with Jacuzzi, very nice. The sitting room was very comfortable with queen size hide a bed, table and chairs for two, tv, a small fridge, microwave, coffeepot and toaster, with an additional closet and suitcase stand. Overall the resort was very average in my opinion. It was clean but dated. The resort listed internet access as an amenity but then when we got there we found out it was $10 a day and it didn't even work. There were several hotels around us that offerred free internet so it was very disappointing. The resort also listed that there were activities daily but when we requested a list they basically had nothing going on. All in all, this is a decent place to keep your stuff and sleep but I wouldn't recommend it if your intention is to enjoy a resort atmosphere. The Celebrity Resorts accomodations were very roomy and allowed plenty of space for our family. However, the room was old and run down. The kitchen is average size,but the fridge is stuck in between the cabinets so there is no way to store anything without crawling over/around the fridge. The master bath jacuzzi was large,but had no shower curtain for showers - (wet mess!). WORST of all, my kids all got an alergic reaction (scabies)which I imagine came from the bedding or the couch. Celebrity Resorts in Kissimmee was a nice place to stay. My new husband and I stayed there for our honeymoon and we had a great time. The location alone makes it well worth it, and it was really nice to have a jacuzzi tub and separate living area. They are undergoing some renovations, and for some reason these little black bugs kept sneaking under our door. The room was really clean, aside from that. A business area with internet would have been nice. Overall, a good place to stay.

Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, Perfect location for dining and within 15 minutes of all the Orlando attractions....

After checking in we found that the bed was cracked and so we informed the staff and they upgraded us from a mini suite to a two bedroom room which was great. Very roomy and had a full kithchen and much more room for my family. They were very accomadating. The room probably was older than the others but it was still good. Plus my husband dropped his wallet on the grounds while swithching rooms and the groundkeeper turned it in which we was very grateful. Would recommend this place to friends and family and would return back also.

Bring your own towels....

The location was good. The room was small. It was clean. We stayed for two days and called to ask them to bring us more towels. They did not come to clean or give us more towels even after we requested them. Finally about half an hour before we checked out, they hung some on our door in a bag. By this time though we had showered and were ready to check out. We had called in the early evening the night before and they acted somewhat taken aback that we would want more towels and not just continue using the same ones over again.

Entertainment: Short Drive, Epcot was only a few minutes away.

The room was as expected very nice. The air conditioner did not work. We were lucky it was fairly cool at night. The pool was heated and nice. We asked to stay an additional 2 nights when my sister's room was not 2 bedroom but 1 small room. They had reserved a 2 br large condo. The desk personal were rude saying that they were booked. They did not offer any apology or suggestions as to another comperable place. The location was good close to shopping and easy acess to parks.

Dining: Short Drive, There were many resturant choices nearby. They ranged from fast food to upscale chains.

Family Friendly Accomodations

The Celebrity Resorts was extremely family friendly. It was very convenient to all the Disney Theme Parks. The condo we stayed in was nice except the bathroom could use some updating as well as the living room sofas. All in all our stay was very pleasant and I would consider staying there again.

Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, All the theme parks were within 10 miles. Vineland is a main strip that many places to shop and dine. There was a WalMart that was a short drive away that was a plus considering our condo had a kitchen so we were able to shop rather conveniently.

This was a very nice place to stay, one of the things I was looking for in a place to stay was something more than your typical bathtub. The large whirlpool bathtub in this room made my stay wanting never to leave and come home. The whole one bedroom suite was very nice and things were quiet. The access to everything we had planned was very convenient and we enjoyed ourselves so much and this is where we will plan on staying again in the future.

Entertainment: Short Drive, We drove to the Sterling casino which was only 1 hour drive and had a blast.

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend stay at the Celebrity Resort. We had chosen the upgrade and had a full kitchen, dining area, sitting area, separate bedroom and bath with jacuzzi tub. Lots of space. The resort is located only 1 block south of the main highway and is between Old Town and Kissimmee but was still quiet and peaceful. We had an upstairs room looking out at the water and the pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Shopping: Short Drive, Publix grocery was close by and had everything we needed for food and adult beverages.

Did not check in until midnight but all went without a glitch. Upgraded room without difficulty. Our unit was very nice with a washer and dryer. It was a homerun.Pool area very nice. Really close to Disney. Right off of 192. Only problem was day of checking out the water was shut off. Fortunately showers were already finished.According to maintenance it would only be a couple of minutes....45 minutes later we checked out and water was still off.

Dining: Short Walk, Perkin's right down the street.
