Celebrity Foods is an "In Home Food & Grocery Delivery Service". They are a great time saver but it's easy to get in over your head with all the extras they offer.
Celebrity Foods delivers to your home every 3 to 6 months the items you've picked off of their lists such as meats, tiolet paper, napkins, peanut butter, basicaly any dry or frozen food or grocery item. They don't carry fresh fruits, produce, dairy products or pet food.
It works like this: after you sign a contract with them, they set you up on a payment plan based on your 6-month order. They perfer to deliver once every 6-months but will break it up into 2 3-month deliveries. You must have a free standing freezer & dry storage space. Every 6 months, an agent comes to your home to set up the next 6-month delivery order.
My mistake was in falling for all the "extras" that when purchased, gives you a discount with each "extra" that you add on. Now I'm stuck paying for a $1000 worth of stem wear I don't need, just to get a 20% discount off my over all order. I'm stuck with the program for 2 years now just break even.
Advantages: I only have to hit the store a couple of times a month to pick up fresh stuff, pet food, sanatery supplies, cleaning supplies and a few other odds & ends that Celebrity doesn't cover. I'm spending less on grocerys with this plan & am making a lot fewer trips to the store.
Our next order will contain meats only, the rest of the stuff I can pick up cheaply at Big Lots, Dollar Tree, Grocery Outlet, ect. & don't have to deal with the storage issue.
