Celebrity Cruises - Summit Alaska Review

Im 16 years old and im mexican.Last  summer my family and i took a cruise to alaska with celebrity cruises.whe chose this cruise line becouse we totally enjoyed the experience with them in the baltic with the celebrity century.

We arrived in Anchorage a day before the cruise started  we get to know the place wich is very nice.People was really  friendly and te city was really beautiful.although the weather was cold and raining we enjoyed our short stay..

Next day we took our way to Seward ,on the way we watch all the amazing sights of te  mountains and rivers. when we arrived to the celebrity summit we where totally treated like royalty.we recieved a deicious hot chocolate at the entrance of the cruise, and we didnt had any problems finding our room wich was really nice, big space,comfortable beds and a really nice view to the sea.

The cruise was beautiful. we went to to the hubber glacier the first day. it was amazing how the temperature was getting so cold as we where getting near the glacier. we watch the glacier at the front of the cruise, the sound of the cracking ice falling to the sea was amazing.

we also went to a place called icy straight point,wich was really small, we took a tour to watch the whales and was beutiful to see the wildlife in alaska. at the end o the cruise we had already seen all the wildlife in alaska, we saw orcas,whales,dolphins,seals,mooses,wolfs,reindders etc. we also went to Skagway,Ketchican,juneau and ended in Vancouver

Food at the Summit was amazing i totally ejoyed, the staff was always warm and friendly.and the tour service at the cruise was not so good, everything was really expensive so we decided to take one that we had always wanted wich was a tour in helicopter to the top of a snowed mountain and then a sled dogs ride . unfortunatley the tour was cancelled and we didnt know why, they told us the weather was bad wich was weird becouse the day was sunny, anyway we where so disapinted ,finally we took another helicopter tour to a glacier . and it was one of the most amazing experiences  ever. the sightseen from the helicopter was so beutiful. and in the glacier we even drinked some of the glacier running water it was anice experience.

i totally recoment celbrity cruises the food, the staf, the rooms, everything was so great and we totally want to go back!
