I travelled the European meditteranean route and have never been so disappointed by a cruise line. Celebrity is worse than  a bad camp, the food was caferteria style bad from breakfast to dinner-then the service gets dicey.At one point I had to laugh and just know one day I would write about my experiences on that cruise and laugh again. Everyday there was an actual line to complain at the purser's and the  director's desk's, and people were yelling at them. I had a great time on the cruise.  It was the first time I had gone on one.  It was with my immediate family as well as my grandparents and some cousines.  There was plenty of food to eat (nonstop) and plenty of activities.  Most of the time we just ate and relaxed by the pool.  I liked how we had to dress up for some of the meals.  It added some elegance to the dining experience.  It would ahve been nice to have the rooms a bit bigger but I guess that's a small price to pay for the overall experience.  It was truly great and I'd definitely do it… read full review »

May 2006, took a 7 day cruise on the Mercury from Seattle to Alaska and back. What a treat. The staff was attentive, courteous, and a lot of fun. The accupuncturist was wonderful and helped my entire party to rid themselves of some nagging maladies. The multi-course dinners were absolutely wonderful. We were provided the opportunity to try all sorts of new foods that never would have been in our budget. The ports we stopped in offered great activities. This cruise was awesome. I was expecting something much less than this. We had a blast. We went for 5days, and I must say it was the best 5days of my life. For anyone who has never been on a cruise before, check it outttttttttttttt. The food is awesome, The ride was beautiful. You can relax, stay up all night. The entertainment is fabulous. I am the type of person where I am easily entertained. I can have fun wherever I am, whatever I am doing. It was my first time to go on a cruise. I didn't know what to expect. The activity there weren't exactly my cup of tea. So the days that was just on the boat only, it can get boring. But they brought in a caricacurist, and it was nice to get a complimentary drawing. — The food was great. Can eat 24/7 on the boat. And the hospitality was great.
