Quite by accident, I found Cedarcide Yard Spray on the Internet. Made with natural cedar oil, it is environmentally safe which is a major concern for me. because our backyard edges a woods, we get all sorts of biting insects such a mosquitoes and gnats. We have many dogs and fleas are also a concern. Cedarcide Yard Spray comes in two sizes and each are set up to attach to your hose for easy spraying. A little goes a very long way. Insects are killed by the cedar oil, thus elimianting them from your yard. Fleas, flies, gnats, mosquitoes are gone, REALLY gone. You spray as needed. I opted to buy the gallon size & have over three quarters of it left which will take me into nxt year's bug season. The gallon retails for approximately $56 plus shipping, but as I previously stated, a very little goes a long way. This is a VERY economical product. Based on the results I've had, I would pay three times the cost. This procust can be diluted to be sprayed on your pets. it gets rid of fleas and your animals smell great.

Anyway, my bottle arrived yesterday and I immediately went out back and started spraying like mad. Unfortunately, although the bottle says it will cover a 50 x 80 foot yard, by the time I got about 3/4 through my approx 50 x 80 yard, the bottle was empty. However, the backyard smelled wonderful (I have always liked the smell of cedar anyway) and it did seem to cut back on the mosquitoes, but it didn't seem like the "miracle" everyone said it was. Anyway, I woke up this morning, stuck my nose out the back door, and the yard still smells wonderful. Even more noteworthy, there are NO MOSQUITOES on the area of the lawn and patio blocks where I first started spraying. They have all moved over to the side of the yard where I ran out of spray. There are mosquitoes plastered all over the window screens on the front of the house which was NOT sprayed, and NONE on the windows in back near the sprayed areas. I am firmly convinced that this stuff works, and I am cruising the web this morning to find the best price on a larger size concentrate that I can mix myself so I can soak the entire property. Last night I saw one of my kitties laying contentedly on the back patio, finally enjoying the (rare in Wisconsin) nice weather, and to me that's worth any money spent. This being the internet, I don't really want to post my name, address, or anything like that, but believe me, I'm an actual customer. (By the way, I read about a product called Hylexin for dark eye circles that was proven to be a total scam, and they proved that the company founders and other employees were posing as "customers" on forums touting the products, so yeah, that kind of stuff sadly does happen.) Suspicious, you sound a lot like me. I read every possible testimonial I could find before I finally decided to buy the cheapest size possible, the YardSafe hose end quart bottle. I figured if it didn't work, I'm only out about $20 with shipping. Right now in southern Wisconsin we are experiencing an unprecedented mosquito hatch thanks to flooding rains, and I have honestly been trapped inside my house during some really nice weather because I am being chewed alive by mosquitoes. I can't stand marinating myself in smelly DEET repellents, and the granules I bought at the local Fleet Farm didn't work worth a s**t. (They stunk besides - a mixture of garlic, citronella, lemongrass, and something else - you can imagine the stench.) I spent serious money last year on enclosing our yard with a cat-proof fence so our cats could go outside at will, and they WILL NOT go outside right now because they also are getting chewed to bits. I have been diligently searching for legitimate testimonials about this product on the web, as i am seriously considering purchasing a version of this product to help eliminate a bug infestation in my home. However, each time i find a "testimonial" about any product from this line, they are suspiciously identical, and i have a very trained eye for written language patterns. I strongly suspect an insider who is posing as several different consumers and plastering false testimonials all over the web. As intrigued as i am by this product, you can bet i'm not going to try it until i hear from an ACTUAL CUSTOMER that it provides the results it promises, as i consider this type of thing a deceptive practice.
