Nice camera for the price

4

I purchased this camera as an impulse purchase while at a drug store on a vacation trip. I hadn't packed a camera and I was wishing I had something other then my cell phone to capture some of the memories. It was fairly inexpensive, so I didn't mind spending the money even though I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the pictures. It took decent outdoor shots in a variety of lighjt levels and also had a nice quality indoors. The down side is that it was a little slow, so if you were trying to get multiple action shots, you would likely not be able to. Overall, if you are looking for an affordable camera for every day use or to get a first camera for a child or teen, this is a great purhase. Image Quality I was pleasantly surprised at how clear and great the images turned out considering the low price point. Performance It takes nice pictures, but it is slow. You sort of need to be ready to take your shot about 2-3 seconds before you want your shot. Ease of Use Point and shoot. No messing with tons of settings. Battery Life Decent battery life considering the pricepoint. Portability This slim and sleek design fits easily in your purse or pocket. Very easy to tote around as an every day camera.

I've had better....

After having received this product as a gift for my birthday, I can say I probably won't be spending my money on another Casio point and shoot digital camera in the future. While the compact design and the colors are attractive, the picture quality is enough to drive you nuts. The picture quality is exceptionally bad when you need to zoom in further than a few feet in front of you. Almost every picture I take is blurry. Some of my favorite moments could be remembered better if they weren't so blurry. My phone takes better picture than this. That being said you do get what you pay for. For the average, everyday picture taker this camera will get the job done. It is quick to load, easy to use, and quick to snap a picture. It has enough features that it can be fun to adjust them but still not difficult to figure out for your average consumer. Its a nice, inexpensive, thoughtful gift just doesn't snap the best pictures I've seen. I had an old Kodak prior to this that wasn't as user friendly, but the photos turned out much more crisp. Durability It is definitely durable. I've had it banging around in my huge purse without a case, and it hasn't effected it at all.

After years of use, the Casio Exilim EX-Z60 is still the best!

We bought our Casio Exilim EX-Z60 years ago for my husband to take on his military deployment with him! It has been through 3 deployments on a ship, taken multiple drops, and has traveled the world with us. After all of these trips and drops, this camera is still alive and is the only camera we turn to. As I said before, we bought this for my husband to take on a military deployment. He was on a ship so we needed a compact camera for him since he would need to be able to store it in a small space. Obviously, you can not compare a picture from this compact camera to a DSLR camera, but I would definitely say that this camera takes AMAZING pictures for it's size. When we show our pictures from trips, our friends and family are always amazed by the picture quality and are even more amazed when we show them the camera that we used. The battery life on this camera is great, but we invested in a second battery. When we are on vacation, the last thing we want to do is have to head back to the hotel early to charge our battery and we definitely don't want to miss out on getting pictures of the great sights we are seeing. If you are looking for a great compact camera, the Exilim line is where it is at! The price point is great and the quality that you are getting is even better!

Great little camera

I bought this camera on one of those deal-a-day sites when my old camera simply stopped working. For a point and shoot, it meets most of my needs. There are several settings. I keep mine on the "kid" setting so I can capture images a little more quickly. It is a point and shoot, so the shutter speed isn't optimal, but if you focus the subject first (pushing the shutter button halfway down) it makes it a little faster. The battery is pretty average, although it goes from two bars to in the red pretty quickly. I wish that the camera battery charged when connected to the computer as well.

Best compact camera Ive ever owned

I dont go anywhere without my Casio Exilim EX-Z60!!! I have had many different cameras before this one, many different brands but this has to be my absolute favorite. Its very easy to use for even my mother who has trouble even turning most cameras on but still makes me happy being a bit more tecnichal savvie. Has a great zoom and has wonderful menu where you can ''lock'' pictures to make sure they don't accidentally get deleted. You can crop the pictures right on the camera and even fix the coloring, chnage the pictures to black and white or sepia. Its also very easy to load pictures onto the computer either using a wire or if your computer has where you can insert the memory card. Also you dont have to constantly worry about batteries because it uses a rechargeable lithium battery that recharges in about an hour! All in all its a wonderful camera that even though little is very tough, mine was in a car acident and was slid across the highway from the vehicle and all it has is a few scratches on the front and a dent in the corner. Didnt change how it worked at all!

I carry my Casio Exilim Ex-Z60/Ex-Z60DX with me everywhere nice and slim compact easy to use .Great to have on hand for any unexpected moments or as they say "kodak moments" for a 6 mega pixel you would never know it from the quality pictures it produces . I would say they are almost as good as my Cannon Rebel which I use most often for my Pro.Stuff but on occasion have used some of the pictures taken with my casio . I always recomend this camera to friends and family who ask my opinion for a selection on a digital that takes good pictures ,easy to use , not big and bulky and afforadable . I just have to show them the pictures that mine has taken ...proof enough even though they have come out with newer improved ones this 6 mega pixel still does a good job .
