I loved this camera

5

I loved this camera so much. It fit in my pocket snugly, was thin as a deck of cards, and the pictures it took was great. Alas, one day I was taking a picture of a chocolate fondue fountain and I dropped it on the floor. The camera didn't break, but the fall misaligned the lenses, and I had to retire it. It's an outdated camera now, but I still feel deep regret for what transpired. I used it since 2006 and it lasted me four years until 2010. I could take macro mode, self-timed pictures. It was so slim, I had good times with this camera. I even took it to the top of mount Fuji. Ok, maybe it's no professional camera, but for vacation pictures, it did its job.

I love this camera I waited along time and did alot of research on digital camera. I have bought a few cameras before but the pictures were not a good quality. This camera takes great pictures . I like it so much I bought my son one also. He love his Casio also. My husband keeps taking my Casio so I think I will have to buy him one too.

Great Little Camera with video

4

This is a great product for the price... we bought it mainly for the video function, our kids wrestling in tournaments and we got tired of lugging the big video camera through crowded gyms just to video a 5 minute (or less) wrestling match.  It works great, takes very nice photos with the 5 megapixels and the videos come out nice too - can even zoom in and out.  It is so small I can even carry it around in my smallest purse.  And, even my husband can use it (he is technologically challenged).  Fantastic value.

A good cheap camera

I have had many camera's in my life but have found annoyances in all of them.  Out of them all, this has been my favorite camera.  It was affordable which I love.  It is compact and fits perfectly into my purse so I am never without it.  The battery lasts a long time and I love not having to buy batteries all the time.  My favorite feature about this camera is that is has a very short wait time in between pictures.  I hated on other cameras having to wait 3-5 seconds to take another picture.  This one I can just continue taking pictures so I never miss a thing.  I has several different flash options which as easy to change.  The only thing I don't love is that it is very light sensitive.  If it is to bring behind someone it will not take the picture, even if I turn off the flash.  It it gets cold it easily fogs up the lens and takes a long time to go back to normal. I would still recommend this camera for someone who take a lot of pictures on the go, and doesn't have time or money for a professional camera.

Casio Exilim EX-S500-love it!

Okay, I have to admit that I'm not sure exactly if this is the model I have, but I've have a couple of Exilims so far and this one looks the most similar to the one I have.  I don't know much about photography, so I prefer point and shoots.  The thing I like most about this camera (aside from the large screen and high-quality picture) is the built in "best scene" feature.  You just pick whether you're shooting a portrait, portrait with background, sports shot (e.g. your kid playing soccer), a moving shot (i.e. shooting out the window of an open car), landscape, backlit, etc. and the camera automatically chooses the best settings and focus for you.  I also like that it automatically recognizes faces and focuses the photo on the faces (if you want it to).  It even has a feature where it'll remember the faces of your immediate family and be sure their faces are in best focus in a shot compared to other faces in a shot.  The video feature is also handy, especially if you're on a trip and don't want to have to carry both a camera and video recorder.  And the camera is just a one-button start, so you don't miss anything.  And the video is "You-Tube ready" (whatever that means).

I have had this camera for about a month now and i think it is the best camera i ever had. My last camera was only 5 mega pixels. so with this new camera i think i am in love. not only does it take pictures but it also does video its not too big but not too small its jsut the right size. it has a feature where it locates the face and also anti shake which i shake a lot because of some nerve damage so this helps me a lot.i found it easy to set up on my computer it also cam with a battery chager and everythign i needed the only thing i had to buy was the card to go in it. the one thing i ahve had trouble with is the video part i upload them to my computer but then can get them to play but i think that has to do with my computer not the camera. the screen is also so clean and clear and i can see every detail of the picture and i love it. all the features it ahs is so great better then most cameras i have seen in its price range. speaking of price it was not very expensive at all.

My Casio digital camera is the best camera I have ever owned, I was on vacation in Maui, and when we came back. I had better photos on my Exilim that my friend had on her Cannon, like real expensive camera that she had. After our trip she ended up dupicating some of my photos and was looking to invest in one for herself.   In the summer when she was gonna take a family photo at a family reunion guest who she called to borrow a camera from. The owner of a Casio digital camera, lucky she had me. Out of four cameras at the reunion, the Exilim gave them the better picture, especially getting all the family in the photo and not blurry.
