I bought my Casio to replace another brand that just didn't work out. This camera is 5 years old and still works near perfectly. Its a little scratched up and sometimes it takes a minute to focus but otherwise its perfect for my needs. A little over two and a half years ago my then fiance wanted to upgrade my camera and got me another smaller brand with more features. That camera was not even two years old and the automatic zoom broke at my nephews 3rd birthday party. I went home and charged up my good old reliable Casio and have been using it again ever since. I forgot how easy to use it was and the pics are great. Plus the battery life is ridiculously lasting. Image Quality On occasion the pics are blurry, almost like it cannot focus. But a majority of the time they are high quality and look almost professional. Performance Takes a beating. . . then takes perfect pics. Seriously couldn't ask for a better point and shoot. Durability Its been dropped unfortunately more than once. . . but it still works almost flawlessly. Battery Life Longest lasting battery. I never worry about it dying on me unexpectedly. Portability A little bulky for a digital camera compared to others but not bad.

Love this camera because it is compact, has a great zoom for a camera of its size, has multiple picture settings, self timer, and video. Cassio packs a lot of feautures into this small camera! I have owned this camera for four years and have not been dissapointed. The one downside is that the date/time resets whenever I remove the battery to recharge the camera.

Investigate exactly what you are looking for in a camera before settling on one that you find confusing or complicated. I received this camera as a "reward" from our bank and I like it but it's not my Kodak. Granted, it is very different and takes great pictures but it is more complex in arrangement and my zone of comfort has to be expanded. I prefer the EasyShare line but I will get use to this one if I continue to take pictures of my grandson. Sandy

I am quite fickle about my digital cameras.  The Casio Exilim EX-S10 is the fifth digital camera I have owned in the past 7 years.  I bought the camera to take still digital shots of my three children, as well as videos that I can upload to my computer or burn to DVD.  The camera was easy to use right out of the box, but the user's manual was terrible.  There were too many languages on each page so it was very confusing and there was not nearly enough information.  I was able to get more information from a friend who owns that camera than from the manual.  The camera takes fantastic pictures - easy to use - basically just point-and-shoot.  The video is very easy to use - simply push the video button to turn it on and off and replay on the large screen is also very easy.  I thought the price was a good value for a camera that takes still and video pictures.  I do not use the software that came with the camera.  I use Picasa software for photo viewing and editing instead.
