Discover - Miles

Discover - Miles
Every day computer user, in debt, on a strict budget

I've had the Discover Miles card for almost 3 years now.  Since then I have had about 4 credit increases and many balance transfer offers.  However it doesn't seem that I only receive a balance transfer offer after I have a high balance.  The rewards offered are pretty good, they offer giftcards from the most popular vendors.  You can even exchange your points for cash to you checking account or to credit you credit card bill, in increments of fifty dollars.    I have redeemed for Red Lobster, Shell Gas station, The Gap, Starbucks, they all make great gifts.  In fact another good idea is...

Discover - More Credit Card

Discover - More Credit Card

The cash back incentive are nice, but If you don't watch out, they will increase your interest rates, which will cost  you a  lot more than you can make on their incentives.  There is nothing free these days.  Also, there are a lot of companies who don't accept Discover.  It is a hassle if you are a customer like me who only carries one card.

The card offer good rewards, but when I logon my account last night and saw my chase freedom was changed into Chase SAPPHIRE that I never knew what it's. I called the Customer service, they said my card is SAPPHIRE, they don't even know what was happening, and superviser made a research and said FREEDOM no longer avaiable, my card became chase SAPPHIRE. With SAPPHIRE, many things chaged and the reward program changed. Just want to share this with everyone that beware of that Chase card becomes a bad company.  They should notice the custome before any transition. I will close all my chase card,...

I've had this card for years, it changes slightly but they take care of all that.  You are covered in case of fraud (experienced this issue and it was all fine).  Best of all, it accumulates points very quickly and you can use the points toward your next bill, so great for saving money because you really saved the money instead of spending it on something you normally wouldn't have bought.  this is the best card I've ever had.  No fooling.  You can also use the points for other things, like airline miles and gift cards and it translates at the same dollar value.

I got this card to use on a European vacation to get cash as I needed it. I thought I understood the terms and conditions, but I was wrong. I was charged $10 every time I got a "cash advance" from an ATM machine. Not only that, I was charged 24% becase the "cash advance" was unpaid until the due date. What I mean by that is that even though I paid the amount owed in full on the due date, I was still charged a finance charge because there was a cash advance on the account in the time period.

The card was advertised as having an introductory 0% finance charge for the first few months. After talking...
