Capital One - Capital One Master Card
I have been with Capital One Master Card for almost three years and I would have to say it has been a rollercoaster ride with them the whole time.
The one thing I did like about them is they gave me a credit line of 300.00 when I first got accepted and offer great protection for my card too. They offer many ways to get your credit line incresed within the first 90days something most major credit card company's won't do for atleast a year if not more. Even though I screwed up on my end I could have easily taken it up to 750.00. But I messed up not them. But than when I lost my card in November 2008...

This is a card that makes sense to me and not designed to tie you in debt for as long as you breath. The cash back bonus program is outstanding. They offer 5% cashback on a vest number of stores especially during the holidays. You can actually see your cashback grow and they have a large variety of stores where you get the cashback unlike other credit cards. Once you accumulate $50 or more (which is easy to do) you can make it count towards the balance.
Every now and then I get a 0% interest rate on balance transfers for at least 6months which helps to pay off those nagging high interest...

I have had the AT&T Universal Card for almost two years. Of all my credit cards, it is the one with the lowest APR at 8.24%. If that is not enough of a spectacular feature, it pays an effective rate of cashback of 2.5% when used as directed. The first year, the rate is double as 5%. To get the 2.5%, all you need to do is use it to pay your AT&T bills and then match the total of those payments with an equal total amount in any other purchases.
AT&T provides both my home phone landline and my wireless phone service. My charges amount to more than $100 per month. So, then I take the card to pay...

I have had my Chase Freedom Card since 2007. When I first got it, I had called Chase to cancel a different card and they wanted to transfer my credit limit amount to another card so I would not hurt my credit score. So they offered me the Chase Freedom card and topped it off with fee-free balance transfers of 3% until the balance was paid off. It was a deal I could not say to.
Most reviews focus on the reward features of this card, so I want to write about the newest feature called Chase Blueprint. I am still paying off a balance transfer at a low 3% APR and so anytime I use the card to make a...

HSBC Bank - Weekend Card
I have had this HSBC Weekend card for eighteen months now. It is called the Weekend Card because it earns 2% cashback on purchases made using the card on Saturdays and Sundays. Purchases made the rest of the week earn 1% cashback. The first four months I had this card, my monthly statements reflected the 2% cashback earned for all the weekend purchases. Then, since the fifth month till now, all purchases are only earning 1% cashback, regardless of whether they are made on the weekend or on weekdays.
I began calling HSBC customer service after receiving my fifth monthly statement. The representative...

I initially had a Providian Visa, and then it got bought out by Chase. I am NOT at all satisfied with the switch. For one, I used to log into my account online with Providian, and they showed me my credit score each month and whether it fluctuated month-to-month. When Chase took over, they took that away. Then, I've been paying off the card, and last month, I made a payment mid-month (mid-cycle) for the total amount so that the balance would be zero. The next month, I got a statement for $30-something dollars, and I called the customer service to see why. Turns out, they charged me for carrying...

I have had my Discover card for 18 years. It was the very first credit card I was ever approved for and allthough I have had dozens of credit cards over the years this is one I always keep. Discover has earned my loyalty for many reasons and one of the most important is the fact that you can talk to a person instead of a recording and it is actually a pleasant experience.
My personal situation changes all the time. I may have a new job or have moved to a new city, but Discover is always there for me. I once had a late fee due to slow mail forwarding and all I had to do was call the number...

I was in great need of rebuilding my credit, I had a small business that went under and left me with a lot of debt. After trying to pay everything I sunk even further and I will admit had no real choice left except to file bankruptcy. After it was discharged I knew that I needed to rebuild my credit. I still had a student loan but I needed revolving credit to rebuild my credit score. Capital One was the first "preapproved" offer that I received that didn't charge a lot of fees. There is an annual fee which varies per card but I have never seen one over $50. I love that Capital One...

American Express - American Express Blue
I've been a customer of American Express for many years. First with a Gold card and then I got my Blue. I always turned down the Platinum because I didn't need it and eventually closed my Gold card so I now have only the Blue card.
My credit rating is excellent and definitely better than the average person so that may be part of the reason I get a very reasonable rate. They even reduced my interest rate a couple of times without mentioning it.
American Express representatives have called me asking about certain charges and recently there were a few small charges that I knew nothing about. They...
Discover - Discover
discover has always given me cash back bonus. they also five five % off on some buissnesses that i live in, which is a small town. they have also refunded me a late charge that was assest to my account for being late on a payment. they have also refunded me monies for buisnesses that have charged a fee on my credit card that i did not make, they had me send in proof and postage that a certain item was sent back to that particular complay and discover took over the pain in the ass of contacting that company and addressing the issue of being charged a bogus charge. i have already used my...
