Very difficult to find a French Roast Decaf. I couldn't believe that Winco had Cascade Pride and decided to give it a try. I love it! Please don't discontinue this product!

While I don't consider myself the average coffee drinker, as I am somewhat selective, I would not consider myself a connoisseur. I have tried a number of coffees over the years, so I do know a good cup from a bad one, and in my opinion, the Cascade Pride coffee is excellent for the price and beats out others I have tried at higher price points. I generally drink one LARGE cup per day and love their KONA brand K-cups. I used to buy another brand which was discontinued and had tried to find a comparable replacement for some time. This more than satisfies and although I have tried other brands, I keep going back to the Cascade Pride. I have also tried their Donut Shop, French Roast, Breakfast Blend and Hazelnut and all were equally good. As another reviewer stated, the French Roast, which used to be one of my favorite coffee blends, tastes like a French Roast. I don't just buy this coffee because of the price, but because the taste is full-bodied, not bitter and I can make a LARGE cup with just one pod. I have also noticed that some of the pods are compatible with the new 2.0 machines. They do have a variety of blends and flavors and sell in single coffee pods, 12 count or 80 count boxes. I generally purchase single pods which allows me to buy various flavors and the price is actually better than the 12-count box. They also carry this coffee in a number of blends and flavors for regular coffee makers (a lot more blends than for the k-cups). Don't hesitate to try this coffee - unless you are a connoisseur, you will be greatly satisfied.

How many times have you been disappointed by coffee labeled as French Roast yet lacks that flavor that only this type of coffee has? I got so tired of it that I'd actually given up searching for it. At least for a decent price. Then, I happened on Cascade Pride coffee at Winco and I am so impressed. No, it doesn't rival the high-end french roasts but it comes close enough. I am so happy I found this coffee. Every cup is a joy.
