I used to LOVE Dunkin Donuts whole bean coffee - then I discovered Winco Foods, and their store-brand! Cascade Pride has the BEST coffee beans I have ever used, and the price can't be beat - at $5.99/pound!

I have tried all of their "regular" (NOT decaf) flavored coffees, and they are the BEST! The chocolate macadamia nut is my favorite, followed by - in no particular order - creamy caramel, vanilla bean, coconut cream.....Oh, heck - PICK ONE!!!!! They are all good!

For those of you who are not familiar with Winco - they are only here on the West Coast. But I do hope - for all of my East Coast friends - that they will spread across the country very shortly!

$5.99/lb. is nothing exciting to write about. Why? That's like someone writing about a major fast-food chain's .99 cent hamburger, and how great the price is. What's worth writing about is North Star Fine Coffees, of Seattle, WA.

If you like Cascade Pride (Winco's private brand), then you will go crazy over North Star Fine Coffees. They serve a true Seattle coffee experience that no coffee company can rival. I've had the best coffees in the finest shoppes, hotels and restaurants and their coffees simply do not compare with that of North Star Fine Coffees. My favorites are "Private Reserve No. 1" and "L'Chaim!"

Something else that impressed me ... I called their corporate office the same day I had my fiest 'North Star Fine Coffees experience,' but it was after hours. I expected an automated email response by a customer service rep or if I was real lucky, a returned call. Well ... I did get a call. FROM THE CEO!

I will serve nothing but North Star at my office, home and highly recommend them for your office, parties, homes -- ANY OCCASION.
