Ah Casanova, the legendary "ladies man" that could win the heart (or bed, as it were) of any woman he chose!  Heath Ledger makes a very convincing Casanova as he is (or, sadly, was) a very charming individual with rugged good looks and a winning smile that would melt the heart of any woman.  His misadventures as he struggles to win the heart of the one woman who wants nothing to do with him are extremely amusing and the ardor of his would-be bride is totally ridiculous but somehow really adds something to the whole of the movie.  There is one scene I would have preferred wasn't in the movie, which is where Casanova's "fiance" is under a table doing some rather inappropriate things to him below the belt.  I thought it was tasteless and unnecessary for the movie to proceed.  However, as a whole, the movie was quite good and I laughed out loud many a time throughout the movie.  I wouldn't call it a must-see, but it is worth the time it takes to watch it.  Although, I would say to leave the kiddies out of this one, there would be too many questions that you probably wouldn't want to answer ;).
