The Hotel Casablanca is a great option if you want to stay near Times Square. Although you are near all the action of Times Square the hotel is comfortable, welcoming and quiet. Of course NY city hotel rooms are small, but my room was well appointed with wonderful touches. The marbled bathroom was beautiful, and the toiletries were first rate. The hotel includes complimentary snacks throughout the day and they have a complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese in the evening. They also have a computer that is complimentary and it can be a lifesaver if you are trying to make last minute… read full review »

I booked a one-night stay for me and my daughter at the Casablanca Hotel. At the last minute my other daughter joined us on our trip. When we got to the hotel with the extra guest, the Desk clerk was very accomodating, upgrading us to a suite that didn't cost much more and got us settled in very quickly. We liked the room and the lounge on the second floor (with internet access and 24 hour snacks and expresso) so much that we stayed a second day. The only glitch was that the hotel could stamp our parking ticket so we could get discount parking at the garage next door. The cost of parking… read full review »

This is a beautiful, quiet 4 star (out of 5) hotel in the very heart of the theater district. The hotel is very tastefully and beautifully decorated in Moroccan motif with hand woven tapestries on the walls throughout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our carpeting smelled from a previous guest's vomit which we did not discover until it was re-activated by steam from a hot shower. There was no other room available, and the staff wrote off our minibar bill as compensation. The rooms were spacious. The bathroom lacks counter space (to lay out toiletry bags), a… read full review »

The Casablanca hotel was wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anybody who doesn't mind a smaller place. It felt very intimate, was very clean and is literally steps away from Times Square. The breakfast was nice, nothing remarkable, but the complimentary wine and cheese from 5-8 was really great and something worth taking advantage of. I noticed a lot of foreign languages being spoken, which I suppose is not surprising given the European boutique styling of the hotel. It doesn't have the pool, big name restaurants or massive lobbies of the big name hotels, but for something off the… read full review »

From the moment we checked in we knew we were in a special hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is tasteful and I felt I was in an oasis in the middle of NY. The room was nice, the bathroom large with a tub!. The only complaint/suggestion is the beds are hard and I did wake up with a backache. The continental breakfast and the afternoon wine and cheese was the best. The staff take a personal interest intheir guests and do the best to accomodate the needs of their guests. We will be back.Dining: Short Walk, Next door is Tony DiNapoli's and then a short walk to Times… read full review »

CASABLACA WAS LITERALLY 5 STEPS FROM TIMES SQUARE BUT WAS SMALL & QUIET ENOUGH TO CREATE A RELAXING/HOMEY ATMOSPHERE SEPARATE FROM THE HUSTLE & BUSTLE OF THE CITY. THE ROOM WAS SMALL BUT CLEAN AND WELL APPOINTED AND THE LITE BREAKFAST EVERY MORNING IN RICK'S WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATE UNLESS YOU NEED A FULL BREAKFAST. STAFF WAS EXTREMELY HELPFULL AND WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE WITH GOOD INFORMATION ON WHERE TO GO AND THE BEST WAY TO GET THERE.Entertainment: Short Walk, NONE —… read full review »

The Casablance is small, comfortable, friendly, relaxed, with a nice quiet atmosphere right in the middle of the Times Square area. Convenient to Theatres etc. It is not a glitzy kind of hotel, just very pleasing.Entertainment: Short Walk, Request a bathtub if that is a priority to you. —… read full review »
