Before buying our Casablanca Ceiling Fan (Model C38G45K) we saw it displayed at the store and loved the look and feel. When we got it home and put it up in our den, the fan seemed so dwarfed in the room but the effort of getting it and having it installed was enough for us to keep it and see how it worked. It does a good job of circulating the air and when standing directly under it we can feel its effects. However, I believe it would be a much better fan if it came with longer fan blades and covered a larger area of both circulation and coolness. The fan does have a good look to it and is easy to control, although again we bought and added more chain so that anyone under 5 feet 5 inches could easily access both the fan and the light. Overall, the fan is fine and fits well with den decor.

This fan looks good bur doesn't cool consistently, evenly or quietly. Fan speeds limited and not easy to adjust. High is too fast and blows après, low barely makes a difference. Light isn't that bright so you'll need a lamp. Air Flow Three speeds on remote are clear but not consistent. Difficult to know which way to turn fans for winter/summer. The high speed will blow things around. Ease of Use The remote is very simple and can be mounted to the wall. No special features. Difficult to change seasons. Durability This fan won't last long. The light globe has streaks and the blades are flimsy. The constant whirring noise is so annoying that I can't see keeping it. Design Looks nice but don't recommend. If you want a fan that is super quiet and gives off lots if light, look elsewhere. If you just need occasional use and don't mind the quirks, this might be for you.
